Paulo Luken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Belfaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 6th minute of play. Brahim Hanin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Nadal kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Paulo Luken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoheir Nabil in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes Cuervos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cheb Harkouk who took care of the corner kick. 22 minutes into the match, Charles Teuma Castelletti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Chilavert. F.C. 1670 Nassau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Teuma Castelletti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, F.C. 1670 Nassau's Cheb Harkouk got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulo Luken. After 33 played minutes F.C. 1670 Nassau got a freekick which was hit by Fouad Ziani. In the 34th minute Teofilo Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Teofilo Gorka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Chilavert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cheb Harkouk, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cuervos AFC's Paulo Luken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Belfaa in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamid Belfaa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Charles Teuma Castelletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamid Belfaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Paulo Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cuervos AFC booed when F.C. 1670 Nassau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoheir Nabil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th play minute Charles Teuma Castelletti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Chilavert. 3-3. Cuervos AFC's Cláudio Biaggio was substituted for Teofilo Gorka. Fouad Ziani charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fouad Ziani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C. 1670 Nassau's Fouad Ziani got a free kick in the 71st minute. Charles Teuma Castelletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but José Chilavert made a huge save. Fermin Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Samuel Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to F.C. 1670 Nassau getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. The F.C. 1670 Nassau supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cuervos AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cuervos AFC.
