Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Hăulică to make the kick off. Sandro Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guayra FC's Chu Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Guayra FC from getting a goal against them. When Robert Stoica came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Pardina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Stoica couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Pardina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guayra FC:s goal. The Guayra FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Guayra FC's Edmílson Rossi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
