When Orlando Urquijo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baez FC's protests and gave Orlando Urquijo a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Urquijo. Arif Bilge Kınay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Urtubia went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belmiro Urtubia got free with Arif Bilge Kınay in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Taylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Arif Bilge Kınay made a huge save. 32 minutes into the game, Karlos Fevre threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gocmar FK's Ferid Akçakoca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 34th minute Orlando Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Kınay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Davut Karay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincente Biggs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yıldıray Patlar's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Ferreccio. Vincente Biggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Kutulmuş in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Benicio Ferreccio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gocmar FK the free kick. The supporters of Gocmar FK booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Ferreccio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Bilge Kınay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casanova in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Casanova to make the kick off. Yıldıray Patlar charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Belmiro Urtubia sped through Gocmar FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arif Bilge Kınay. Arif Bilge Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casanova in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Casanova in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Bilge Kınay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benicio Ferreccio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gocmar FK's Hulki Tunçtürk got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Gocmar FK's Onur Kutulmuş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincente Biggs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Belmiro Urtubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute.
