Artun Kaçan hit a great ball. Sonny Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Klinkisch in the 9th minute of the match. Sonny Alén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Wischermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Georg Klinkisch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Artun Kaçan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Bozkurt. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Halit Tokgöz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Georg Klinkisch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 85 minutes of play, Bornova's Artun Kaçan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Bozkurt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Bozkurt came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Bornova's Artun Kaçan. But to his dismay, Artun Kaçan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Halit Tokgöz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bornova had played much better football throughout.
