União Agrícola Barbarense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Negra FC the free kick. In the 11th match minute, União Agrícola Barbarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Toscano to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Nicolao Crispino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Erik da Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. União Agrícola Barbarense's Erik da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolao Crispino in the 17th minute of play. Nicolao Crispino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Erik da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolao Crispino in the 25th minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Erik da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, João Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 44 minutes, Nicolao Crispino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta Negra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolao Crispino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco van Persie in the 47th minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Erik da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco van Persie to make the kick off. Erik da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolao Crispino in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Allan Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félix Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Damião. After a rather tough play, União Agrícola Barbarense's Natanael de Sena got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Lúcio Seneca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Floresta Negra FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than União Agrícola Barbarense throughout the match.
