Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Casagrande in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Avellaneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Coutinho. Rafa Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Agustin Avellaneda made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Casagrande in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Avellaneda saved Sportivo Chupeño from getting behind. When Walter Casagrande, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Agustin Avellaneda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Agustin Avellaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Casagrande's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Walmir Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Abechuco in the 24th minute of play. Agustin Avellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Casagrande in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Adrianinho Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Agustin Avellaneda threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Walter Casagrande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Maciel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Maciel. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ascencio Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters rose to their feet, but Ascencio Abechuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmir Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Casagrande made a kick off. In the 57th minute Walter Casagrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrianinho Furtado during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Adrianinho Furtado got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sportivo Chupeño's Agustin Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Casagrande in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Walter Casagrande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustin Avellaneda was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Walmir Dias came out of the goal and Goizeder Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafa Coutinho's late challenge caught a Sportivo Chupeño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Rafa Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Casagrande to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Waldemar de Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Avellaneda skillfully saved the ball. Agustin Avellaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Casagrande's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Casagrande in the 88th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Abecia's late challenge caught a Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Everardo Abecia hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Walter Casagrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
