In the 10th minute, Yetkin Emek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastián Arcangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yetkin Emek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes CDU Católica got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Ferreiro. CDU Católica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Yetkin Emek scored to the left of an out of position Sebastián Arcangel, making the score, 1-0. Yetkin Emek might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Arcangel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yetkin Emek ran back to his position shaking his head. CDU Católica's Sebastián Arcangel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save CDU Católica from getting a goal against them. Emmanuel Ferreiro made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Fernet Branca's Lei Xiao Jian. Yetkin Emek might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Arcangel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yetkin Emek ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastián Arcangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yetkin Emek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Arcangel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lei Xiao Jian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the CDU Católica defense, Mauro Milano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Arcangel. The CDU Católica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Arcangel should have stopped the shot. The Sportivo Fernet Branca fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Sportivo Fernet Branca's Kenney Coveliers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
