In the 2nd match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Vilas Boas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bořek Kalista in the 4th minute of the match. The corner led Golden Tigers's Jan Dalecký to fire away a dangerous shot which Delfim Vilas Boas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nicolas Queirós hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Silvério Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavel Hurník. Golden Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match Golden Tigers got a corner. MZ Fénix's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feijo Freire ran over to the corner to take the kick. Feijo Freire made a great header on Golden Tigers's corner, it was just that MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute, Feijo Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Golden Tigers's Pavel Hurník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Feijo Freire tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute of the game Vendelín Bittner made a throw-in which Oskar Siegl played forward. In the 31st minute, Rubim Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Hurník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match MZ Fénix got a corner. Golden Tigers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Américo Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to MZ Fénix's Manuel Rego getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Josef Vrobel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Vrobel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Vilas Boas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pavel Hurník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden Tigers's attack was well implemented in the 43rd minute, but when Bořek Kalista was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Américo Vasconcelos made a great header on MZ Fénix's corner, it was just that Golden Tigers's Pavel Hurník managed to reach the ball for a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Golden Tigers's Pavel Hurník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 53rd minute of play. Silvério Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pavel Hurník made a huge save. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Tigers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Américo Vasconcelos was slow to take the kick. During this time MZ Fénix's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Belchior Miranda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pavel Hurník quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 56 minutes, Vendelín Bittner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Tigers and the MZ Fénix players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Vendelín Bittner got a free kick in the 56th minute. Silvério Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Pavel Hurník didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. With a little luck, Golden Tigers's Pavel Hurník got control of the ball when Silvério Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Feijo Freire hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Josué Câmara. After 68 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Rohlíček. Silvério Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavel Hurník. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Delfim Vilas Boas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feijo Freire's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Golden Tigers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Silvério Vasconcelos scored to the left of an out of position Pavel Hurník, making the score, 1-2. Golden Tigers made a substitution. Drahoslav Kačer replaced Vendelín Bittner. Pavel Hurník didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Vasconcelos went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 88th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Camargo to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, Golden Tigers's Feijo Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Tigers reached it. After 95 played minutes, Golden Tigers's Josef Vrobel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Tigers reached it. The Golden Tigers manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing MZ Fénix to win.
