José Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Perez in the 18th minute of the match. FLA MQ BRASIL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bembenfica the free kick. After 46 played minutes FLA MQ BRASIL got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Perez. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Emanuel Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Aguiar having to interfere. FLA MQ BRASIL's Márcio da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Albuquerque hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Ferrão during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FLA MQ BRASIL were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
