The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Tyski in the 5th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Moises Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Gizon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kryspin Michna made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Pawel Michna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moises Vela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With an all-out effort, San Martin de Tucuman's Kryspin Michna threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavio Blai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Martin Teyo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Pawel Michna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC POLMOTOR TCZEW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Bartlomiej Michna in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. San Martin de Tucuman's Moises Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Tyski in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Gizon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Kryspin Michna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Gizon in the 55th minute of play. Moises Vela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pawel Michna in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Pawel Michna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Diegotxe's late challenge caught a FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Diegotxe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Maximo Diegotxe got a free kick in the 77th minute. San Martin de Tucuman's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Zdzislaw Tyski scored to the left of an out of position Moises Vela, making the score, 0-8. Pawel Michna scored 0-9 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises Vela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Michna in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Moises Vela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wladyslaw Wojtowicz. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
