An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Berkant Akağan in the 24th minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Seleykos Sklavenitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Azmi Altuncuoğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis. Seleykos Sklavenitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Karaburun FC booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epigonoi Theohari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olcay Orkun İlbaşı came out of the goal and Giorgos Kakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
