Rega Merida CF's Pocho Citko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicki Nick in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Ersoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walery Absolwent. ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Walery Absolwent 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Nicki Nick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raúl Gonzales charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Gonzales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Raúl Gonzales hit a great ball. Pocho Citko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Öman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicki Nick in the 29th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Pocho Citko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicki Nick took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pocho Citko. Pocho Citko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. ZigZag Athletic's Nicki Nick got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicki Nick in the 36th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Pocho Citko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. ZigZag Athletic's Jacek Zjawin suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. After 44 minutes, Lucjan Mios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rega Merida CF and the ZigZag Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucjan Mios hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rega Merida CF defense, Nicki Nick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pocho Citko. The Rega Merida CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pocho Citko should have stopped the shot. After the first half ZigZag Athletic were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Nestor to make the kick off. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Zimniy in the 52nd minute of play. Pocho Citko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes, Nicki Nick made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rega Merida CF's Pocho Citko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicki Nick did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Pocho Citko 59 minutes into the match. Nicki Nick struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Pocho Citko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZigZag Athletic. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marcus Isaksson hit a great ball. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Timo Werner replaced Walery Absolwent. Rega Merida CF's Kajetan Paciuszko was substituted for Ziemowit Zyskowski. Nicki Nick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Pocho Citko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as ZigZag Athletic's Rodrigo Nestor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pocho Citko. That made the score 2-6 after 77 minutes of play. Nicki Nick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicki Nick in the 82nd minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Pocho Citko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Zimniy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Akif Ersoy having to make a save. When the match was over ZigZag Athletic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rega Merida CF throughout the match.
