Gryffindor Lions's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iván Lea ran over to the corner to take the kick. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Iván Lea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafael Refugio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee ignored Gryffindor Lions's protests and gave Mauricio Eneas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ booed when Gryffindor Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iván Lea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Refugio. Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Quintín Borda got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rafael Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Basay in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Eber Basay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leonardo Raheiro scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Refugio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper Rafael Refugio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Raheiro. In the 43rd match minute, Gryffindor Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Isauro to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eber Basay in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Leonardo Raheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Rafael Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Bennet in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute Nacho Skewes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Inocente Bafalluy was substituted for Mario Bennet.
