GREEK ARMY's Bon Culot quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gösta Henriksson, made in the 3rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson got control of the ball when Grigoris Karagiotakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute GREEK ARMY were awarded a corner. Vlassis Mellios went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on GREEK ARMY's corner Vlassis Mellios fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jörgen Gummeson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 17th minute Vassilis Lazarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes Garphyttan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vlassis Mellios who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vlassis Mellios almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson did a great save. With a little luck, Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson got control of the ball when Grigoris Karagiotakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Garphyttan getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tobias Mårtensson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Vlassis Mellios could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Jörgen Gummeson however easily saved by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Bernt Nordmark notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas. Alkis Kalaboukas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jens-Ola Nordin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alkis Kalaboukas having to make a save. Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Garphyttan from getting a goal against them. Alkis Kalaboukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Elssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigoris Karagiotakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jörgen Gummeson made a huge save. When Garphyttan's Jens-Ola Nordin in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jörgen Gummeson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Grigoris Karagiotakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Stamatis Zindros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The GREEK ARMY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garphyttan were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Käcker made a kick off. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Nordmark in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 56th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Jörgen Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GREEK ARMY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vlassis Mellios in the 57th minute. Jörgen Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Lazarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the match, Bernt Nordmark tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alkis Kalaboukas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pavlos Vavatsikos hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's Jens-Ola Nordin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When GREEK ARMY's Vassilis Lazarakis in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alkis Kalaboukas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vassilis Lazarakis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jens-Ola Nordin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Garphyttan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GREEK ARMY throughout the match.
