Without hesitation aimed to the right of Merrill Suarez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 4th minute of the match Goiás Esporte Clube got a corner. ARMENIAN 11's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdir Neves ran over to the corner to take the kick. Oswaldo Figueiredo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to ARMENIAN 11 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Silas Villanueva hit a great ball. When Valdir Neves came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Goiás Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Neves couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lloyd Urbina in the 11th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's C.J. Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Diniz in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merrill Suarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merrill Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Kurtz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Faria came free, but Merrill Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Goiás Esporte Clube got a corner. ARMENIAN 11's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Diniz in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merrill Suarez saved ARMENIAN 11 from getting behind. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Marcus Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, ARMENIAN 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Kurtz to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Marcus Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lloyd Urbina, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Dênis Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Merrill Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ARMENIAN 11 made a substitution. Casey Mixon replaced Merle Mansfield. ARMENIAN 11's Merrill Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Diniz in the 76th minute of play. Merrill Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Peres went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Faria came free, but Merrill Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merrill Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Faria in the 87th minute of play. Dênis Faria spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ARMENIAN 11's goal. 88 minutes into the game, Casey Mixon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARMENIAN 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goiás Esporte Clube the free kick. In the 89th match minute, ARMENIAN 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casey Mixon to maneuver through the defense. Lloyd Urbina's late challenge caught a Goiás Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lloyd Urbina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ARMENIAN 11 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. After a rather tough play, ARMENIAN 11's Joshua Fitzgerald got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when ARMENIAN 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kip Jeffries didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARMENIAN 11's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
