When Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luisão Sabóia in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oshyros ll's goalie prevented a goal. Adrian Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Linares having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Dionísio. Conrado Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Terra. The audience was convinced that Dênis Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Lobo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Dênis Terra might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Lobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 42 minutes of play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luisão Sabóia made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Lobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ibirama Futebol Clube were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dênis Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 93rd play minute Luisão Sabóia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benjamin Lobo. 0-5. The Ibirama Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
