Serafino Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Soter, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Ciro Txatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If German Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes in the game, Ciro Txatxu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 17th minute, Erasmo Cibran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Haritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21st minute Independiente were awarded a corner. Amadeo Rio went to the cornerflag to take it. Independiente's Amadeo Rio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafino Haritz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Txatxu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Haritz saved ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ from getting behind. When Matias Barea fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's protests and gave Matias Barea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Independiente booed when ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Barea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Baldomero Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Ciro Txatxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Serafino Haritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Txatxu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Uhin in the 51st minute of play forced ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goalkeeper Serafino Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Txatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Serafino Haritz made a huge save. After some careless play in the ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ defense, Ciro Txatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Haritz. The ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Haritz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goalkeeper Serafino Haritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Txatxu. Ciro Txatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Serafino Haritz made a huge save. Erasmo Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Ciro Txatxu notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Serafino Haritz. Serafino Haritz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Serafino Haritz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ from getting a goal against them. Ciro Txatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Serafino Haritz made a huge save. Serafino Haritz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ciro Txatxu sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th match minute, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Montrell to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Txatxu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Serafino Haritz 88 minutes into the match. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Baldomero Theobald got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Baldomero Theobald off the ground. After 92 played minutes ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Theobald. When the final whistle sounded Independiente left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ.
