The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the FIEL ALGUSTA defense, Raimundo Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldinho de Toledo. The FIEL ALGUSTA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldinho de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Dagoberto Souza took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldinho de Toledo. Osvaldinho de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcelinho Abreu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Osvaldinho de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, FIEL ALGUSTA's Luisão Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júnior Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 32nd match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho de Toledo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by F.Salgado F.C.'s Wágner Sousa. But to his dismay, Wágner Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 39th minute, Dagoberto Souza made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldinho de Toledo. FIEL ALGUSTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Emanuel Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. F.Salgado F.C.'s Júnior Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Fantini in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Osvaldinho de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Sousa in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, FIEL ALGUSTA's Osvaldinho de Toledo got control of the ball when Raimundo Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the F.Salgado F.C. defense, Marcelinho Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Massa. The F.Salgado F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Massa should have stopped the shot. Sandro Nascimento made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Acácio França. Osvaldinho de Toledo was a little too slow when Dagoberto Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-5. A collision led to F.Salgado F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wágner Sousa hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes F.Salgado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Dantas. In the 77th minute of the match, Dagoberto Souza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldinho de Toledo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FIEL ALGUSTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.Salgado F.C. the free kick. In the 78th match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Emanuel Bertassi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FIEL ALGUSTA's Osvaldinho de Toledo didn't even have to move. 83 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Souza came free, but Osvaldinho de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
