Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Macena kicked off to start the match. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Vitor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Tróia in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Joaquim Roriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Paços de Ferreira and the Catadão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquim Roriz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Domingos Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Mendonça having to interfere. Vitor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Tasso in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Catadão booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Vitor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Tróia in the 23rd minute of play. Sandro Tróia scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitor Baia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrézinho Tasso made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Catadão's Franklin Fonseca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitor Baia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitor Baia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio França got free with Vitor Baia in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Macena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Dráuzio França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catadão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Catadão's Vitor Baia threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrézinho Tasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Catadão's Andrézinho Tasso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Andrézinho Tasso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vitor Baia came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrézinho Tasso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 80th minute. After 84 played minutes Catadão got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Romero. After 85 played minutes, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Manuel Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renan Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Paços de Ferreira reached it. Alexandre Moura hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Renan Mendonça came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Domingos Macena. But to his dismay, Domingos Macena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catadão were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
