Manuel Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Ismael Vela made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Vilela. AM United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pedro Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ismael Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ascacibar-Pérez's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Vilela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Vela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Vilela having to make a save. In the 27thth minute of the game Ismael Vela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AM United's Francisco Vilela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Pedro Frascuelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Francisco Vilela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladislao Endira came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by AM United's Alexandre Mendonça. But to his dismay, Alexandre Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of AM United booed when Ascacibar-Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Francisco Vilela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Vela in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Ismael Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascacibar-Pérez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Vela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Manuel Brás came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the AM United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Brás couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes AM United got a freekick which was hit by Hermano Gaspar. Francisco Vilela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Francisco Vilela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Vela kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Emanuel Fonda put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Ascacibar-Pérez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AM United:s goal. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for AM United. Lisandro Oliveira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ladislao Endira. 2-2. Rafael Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Francisco Vilela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Andres Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ascacibar-Pérez's Rafael Ostots got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 99th match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Soares to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Ostots, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. AM United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ascacibar-Pérez had controlled the match.
