After 19 minutes, Kris Daniels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ad Fundum and the CD SHETTANI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Daniels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greivin Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willy Descamps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luuk Smekens charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luuk Smekens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Luuk Smekens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertan Aelemans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Gomez in the 31st minute. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Dekkers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Osorio. Jonny Elizondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bertan Aelemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Gomez made a kick off. CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Helssen in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Luuk Smekens. Alonzo Chavarria scored 2-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertan Aelemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that CD SHETTANI were the better team. CD SHETTANI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
