Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 5 played minutes Lord of the Wings got a freekick which was hit by Tom Connolly. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Gilbride in the 9th minute of the match. Alisdair Ferries made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Abud in the 10th minute. DENVER™'s Rodrigo Velasco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guilherme Abud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Guilherme Abud kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alisdair Ferries. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Gilbride in the 45th minute of the match. Guilherme Abud in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alisdair Ferries, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme Abud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Abud couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, one of Lord of the Wings:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lord of the Wings.
