Gilberto Zubiaga hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Joey Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Prestes in the 9th minute of play. If Gilberto Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute, Gilberto Zubiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Nicanor Alcaraz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Felipe Lopes to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Nicanor Alcaraz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Joey Molina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomás Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 37th minute, Zé Pedro Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joey Molina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Felipe Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Zubiaga in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Morientes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Orihuela Club de Fútbol getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Romo Briso hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Thomás Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Prestes to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Cabezon to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Gilberto Zubiaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 61st minute, Don Cabezon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Lopes having to interfere. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Benjamim Trancoso hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Nicanor Alcaraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Felipe Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orihuela Club de Fútbol had won after a very even match.
