In the 18th minute of the match, Ambrosio Brion got a very nice opportunity to score, but Léo Carioca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gilberto Gorbea hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Christian Karlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Sena in the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hacha y Tiza FC's zone, Gilberto Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Karlo came out of the goal and Gilberto Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Alvarenga came free, but Christian Karlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Venancio Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Germano Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Karlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Brion got free with Léo Carioca in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Gorbea made a kick off. Christian Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Neiva in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Neiva in the 63rd minute of play forced Hacha y Tiza FC's goalkeeper Christian Karlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Gilberto Gorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germano Silva hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Teofilio in the 76th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Léo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza FC's goalkeeper Christian Karlo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Alvarenga. The tension between the Hacha y Tiza FC and the Flamengo FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
