When %teams%'s Ivan Toli was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 12 minutes into the game. Rodriguinho Pernambucano was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Adelino Costa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Nico Neves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat didn't even have to move. Silvano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Costa in the 27th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Adelino Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Ian Salles made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvano Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Nico Neves made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Hermosillo FC defense, Adelino Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Benat. The Hermosillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Benat should have stopped the shot. When Ian Salles fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merusca F&P - CIMZ's protests and gave Ian Salles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Salles to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Vidal came free, but Silvano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Hermosillo FC's Bruno Eate seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bruno Eate the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hermosillo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bruno Eate had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 46 minutes into the game, one of Hermosillo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Willian de Salles was substituted for Cícero Diniz. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Costa made a kick off. If Cecilio Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Gustavo Lizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Silvano Benat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Silvano Benat threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Vidal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Adelino Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Vidal scored 1-7 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Benat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Salles in the 77th minute of play. Silvano Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Vidal in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silvano Benat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Pontes. Dieguinho Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieguinho Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Nico Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Benat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Vidal came free, but Silvano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Pontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvano Benat came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinícius Pontes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Pontes got free with Silvano Benat in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Tomé Valadares had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Luiz Eduardo Faria replaced Tomé Valadares. Isaias Havier hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Nico Neves tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
