With a little luck, A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira got control of the ball when Paulo Leguizamón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulgencio Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Pitta in the 9th minute of the match. Fulgencio Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nicolas Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Cordairo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by A A Arizona's Vágner Pitta. But to his dismay, Vágner Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eustacio Jurdan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Siqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Jurdan ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25thth minute of the game Simão Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL CHINGOLO P C's Fulgencio Cordairo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Chicão Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Cordairo. EL CHINGOLO P C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chicão Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chicão Freire during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chicão Freire hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, EL CHINGOLO P C's Nicolas Roano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Pitta made a kick off. Nicolas Roano scored 2-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Vágner Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, EL CHINGOLO P C's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Pitta came free, but Fulgencio Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Leguizamón went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. EL CHINGOLO P C's Fulgencio Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Sena in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Simão Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Cordairo. That made the score 3-5 in the 72 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Pedro Luís Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Vágner Pitta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Cordairo. EL CHINGOLO P C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vágner Pitta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Godoi during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vágner Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Cordairo having to interfere. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when EL CHINGOLO P C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A A Arizona's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
