The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Bograngen's Thor Åkerström got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Twierdza Wroclaw's Zbyszko Misiorowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Deckbergh in the 9th minute of play. Inge Uggstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Zieba in the 11th minute of the match. Zbyszko Misiorowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Deckbergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszko Misiorowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Åkerström in the 16th minute of play. If Tytus Zieba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Witalis Glozor might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inge Uggstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witalis Glozor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th match minute, Twierdza Wroclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Sokolski to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's Tytus Zieba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inge Uggstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Witalis Glozor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twierdza Wroclaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witalis Glozor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Grönlund came free, but Zbyszko Misiorowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszko Misiorowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Deckbergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goalkeeper Inge Uggstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witalis Glozor. In the 41st minute, Twierdza Wroclaw's Tytus Zieba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inge Uggstedt. Inge Uggstedt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krister Grönlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krister Grönlund in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zbyszko Misiorowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jerzy Trochowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inge Uggstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Boruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes of play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Tytus Zieba made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inge Uggstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Krister Grönlund got free with Zbyszko Misiorowski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krister Grönlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Misiorowski having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Thor Åkerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bograngen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
