Bento Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Rezende in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes of play, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Edgard Amaral made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bento Abeita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sotero Abastas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotero Abastas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Beto Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Beto Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Abeita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Etxahun Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Duarte Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Leão made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Arotza Abajas sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Sotero Abastas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shepherd Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Amaral in the 30th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Bento Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Dante's late challenge caught a Kalatakaya F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gino Dante helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, one of ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Kalatakaya F.C.. Sotero Abastas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Duarte Leão. 1-2. 40 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sotero Abastas came free, but Duarte Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Amaral came free, but Bento Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bento Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erik Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's protests and gave Erik Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Erik Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arotza Abajas was the one to do the kick off. Duarte Leão came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kalatakaya F.C.'s Etxahun Abastas. But to his dismay, Etxahun Abastas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gino Dante was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gino Dante hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Nico da Cunha got a free kick in the 69th minute. Duarte Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arotza Abajas in the 70th minute of play. Erik Bastos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Etxahun Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sotero Abastas came free, but Duarte Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotero Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
