In the 18th minute of the match Alf Kullgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hardo Kangur skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Hardo Kangur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hardo Kangur was a little too slow when Olof Ersman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taimo Saue to make the kick off. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Club Ahja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argo Laenaja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Ahja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Ambrosini the free kick.
