When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Alf Elg put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Custódio. Alf Elg scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leandro Custódio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Elg's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Alf Elg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bertioga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Alf Elg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Custódio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alf Elg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Custódio was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 35th minute of the match Leões do Sul 53 got a corner. SC Bertioga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leões do Sul 53's Christiano Barreto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruninho Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leandro Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo de Lima in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Kraig Sandoval suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Anderson Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. SC Bertioga's Bruninho Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Bertioga from getting a goal against them. After 44 minutes SC Bertioga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rony Rüşti who took care of the corner kick. In the 46th minute of the match Horácio Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruninho Vaz skillfully saved the ball. Guto Kleber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Bruninho Vaz made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Elg in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Custódio saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. 53 minutes into the game, Guto Kleber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Bruninho Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gildo de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alf Elg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leandro Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Domingos Sengrat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bertioga and the Leões do Sul 53 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leandro Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Elg in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Guto Kleber. After 95 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Breno Porto. The Leões do Sul 53 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Bertioga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
