In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Bruninho Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Alvarenga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruninho Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo de Lima got free with Amerigo Muzi in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amerigo Muzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Troiano in the 12th minute of the match. If Luiz Gustavo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Luiz Gustavo do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Troiano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Alvarenga got a free kick in the 41st minute. Izydor Domalik hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruninho Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Gustavo do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bruninho Vaz was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and José Carlos Alagoano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Carlos Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. A collision led to Floripa Lions FSCMZ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amanda Zigiotti hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Floripa Lions FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
