Mădălin Moromete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horaţiu Moldovan. Cetatea Suceava's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 7 played minutes Cetatea Suceava got a freekick which was hit by Albert Emilianu. After 12 played minutes Cetatea Suceava got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Şimonca. Cetatea Suceava's Horaţiu Moldovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Papadima in the 14th minute of play. Horaţiu Moldovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Beșliu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Moldovan saved Cetatea Suceava from getting behind. Horaţiu Moldovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Moromete in the 33rd minute of the match. When Alexandru Corlățean fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muget's protests and gave Alexandru Corlățean a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Muget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Corlățean to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Beșliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Moldovan having to interfere. Marcu Sângeorzan charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Sângeorzan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cetatea Suceava booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Sângeorzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Moldovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Beșliu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Beșliu in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Moldovan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petru Geamănu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Geamănu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Nistor Beșliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 59 minutes of play, Cetatea Suceava's Petru Geamănu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Zogreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Muget's Cătălin Crașovan, in the 68th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Muget. In the 70th match minute, Cetatea Suceava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Jurca to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Muget's Alexandru Corlățean got a free kick in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Beșliu in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Moldovan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horaţiu Moldovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nistor Beșliu in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Muget's Mădălin Moromete got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Petru Geamănu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu. Muget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petru Geamănu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ion Papadima succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 93rd playminute. With a little luck, Cetatea Suceava's Horaţiu Moldovan got control of the ball when Nistor Beșliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cetatea Suceava fans cheered their team off the field, for while Muget had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
