Ronny Caicedo started the match with the kick off. Diederiek Heijligen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Silver Squad AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. GUAYACO:s goal. In the 17th match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Castermans to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Caicedo scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommie Vaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ronny Caicedo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes. Tommie Vaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Squad AFC's zone, George Temes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommie Vaes came out of the goal and George Temes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommie Vaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Mejia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Ronny Caicedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 34 in the game by George Temes from a close distance when the talented Tommie Vaes managed to make a qualified save. Silver Squad AFC's players were relieved. Rey Villazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Goffeyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Ronny Caicedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by George Temes. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Tommie Vaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Temes in the 52nd minute of play. Tommie Vaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Temes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. GUAYACO's zone, Henri Goffeyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rey Villazan came out of the goal and Henri Goffeyn tried to chip the ball over his head. Tommie Vaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Rechani in the 56th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Hugo Mejia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henri Goffeyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Caicedo scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommie Vaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Mejia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Billy De Koster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, C.A. GUAYACO's Gomez Argüelles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommie Vaes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. GUAYACO reached it. After 79 minutes, Christoffel Callewaert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Christoffel Callewaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, George Temes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. GUAYACO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Caicedo in the 85th minute of play. Ronny Caicedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tommie Vaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommie Vaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Temes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the C.A. GUAYACO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
