Gernando Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Gernando Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Gilesindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Paranhos Ariranha FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abel Maia hit a great ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Maia made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Cezary Bartoszek. After a defensive mix-up in Paranhos Ariranha FC's zone, Gernando Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Gilesindo came out of the goal and Gernando Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Gernando Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 62 played minutes Paranhos Ariranha FC got a freekick which was hit by Pieter-Maarten Specht. In the 63rd minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Honorato Afonso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
