Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Kléber Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Inter de São Paulo's Kléber Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xove Pintor in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Xove Pintor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Inter de São Paulo's Kléber Salles. Kléber Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kléber Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xove Pintor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A hard shot by Dilaver Tokuzer from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Kléber Salles's attention. Kléber Salles made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Esteve Urtungo sent off a good shot on target. If Marcelinho Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Urtungo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. COMCHOPP's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Inter de São Paulo's Yan Ceresso was substituted for César Alagoano. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelinho Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Esteve Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot. COMCHOPP's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Urtungo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcelinho Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the game, Pedro Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de São Paulo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COMCHOPP the free kick. The supporters of COMCHOPP booed when Inter de São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Kléber Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kléber Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelinho Hermes went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute Marcelinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Inter de São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Yan Ceresso. In the 90th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Ceresso to maneuver through the defense.
