The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Navin Dale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carles Artadi was slow to take the kick. During this time Re Loco's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Carles Artadi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni did a great save. Arne Rusterholz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Hartz in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Re Loco's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Hartz came free, but Arne Rusterholz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateusz Sakowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Ceni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The throw-in from Fan Yang Hong in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Re Loco's 陶永振. Arne Rusterholz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cumhur Günay in the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Carroll Mansfield shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Rusterholz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Hartz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Hartz in the 52nd minute of play forced Re Loco's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match, Cumhur Günay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arne Rusterholz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Re Loco made a substitution. Celso Lalla replaced Mateusz Sakowicz. Arne Rusterholz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumhur Günay in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Re Loco's Celso Lalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Ceni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Hartz in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Rusterholz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 76th minute Herbert Pracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Lalla in the 78th minute of play. Celso Lalla scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Ceni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 90 minutes, Nicolás González managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Re Loco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás González was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Frank during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guillermo Frank hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Re Loco succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Belgrano LOS PIRATAS had controlled the match.
