Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovanni Custódio went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Giovanni Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio de Azevedo having to interfere. Dagoberto Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Vides in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Giovanni Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giovanni Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Custódio in the 40th minute of play. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Custódio's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half SE Tijolo 6 Furos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The BMB IMOVEIS SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Giovanni Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution.
