The audience thought a goal was coming when Willian Félix got free with Ludomil Ziomkowski in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Silva in the 8th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Ziomkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vinícius Servaes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 23rd minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 30th minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Servaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Ziomkowski having to interfere. When Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein couldn't finish the play. Well-Well Junior might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Ceni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Well-Well Junior ran back to his position shaking his head. Ludomil Ziomkowski came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes. But to his dismay, Vinícius Servaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Jerônimo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Virgiawan Laturua replaced David Brás. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Gustavo da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney de Queirós hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Diamante Negro DK - VV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
