The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olivier Gilg in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olivier Gilg might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Eduardo Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olivier Gilg ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Gilg in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Sydney Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Manoel de Amorim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chico Donato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner. Olivier Gilg went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Gilg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Aesir FC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Eduardo Veiga in the 22nd minute. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Gilg in the 33rd minute of play. Sydney Ramalho hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dudu Cardozo made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Manoel de Amorim however managed to control. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Ramalho in the 55th minute of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Ramalho in the 56th minute of play. Roberto Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Varela. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Lopes in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Galvão saved Aesir FC FSCMZ from getting behind. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Fantini in the 76th minute of play. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aesir FC FSCMZ's Sydney Ramalho in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Aesir FC FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DIPLOMATA FC PAB's performance. The match ended with a win for DIPLOMATA FC PAB.
