The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Braga Junior FC. 12 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Magalhães came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Clementi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Silvinho Veiga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Magalhães in the 15th minute of play. Robustiano Clementi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Silvinho Veiga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robustiano Clementi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Silvinho Veiga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Gustavo Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Silvinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Magalhães in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Robustiano Clementi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Clementi got free with Silvinho Veiga in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robustiano Clementi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Silvinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Lain struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ronaldo de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dudu Magalhães made the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Magalhães in the 54th minute of the match. Silvinho Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes, Vista Alegre FC's Belo Ponta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vista Alegre FC reached it. In the 59th minute, Robustiano Clementi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvinho Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Clementi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvinho Veiga was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Dudu Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. Norberto de Azevedo replaced Dudu Magalhães. Silvinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Robustiano Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Igor Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Emilio Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braga Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Remo Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vista Alegre FC's zone, Remo Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo de Moraes came out of the goal and Remo Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vista Alegre FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
