The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chicão Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Meirelles. In the 19th minute Milan da Freguesia F.C. were awarded a corner. Yan Rezende went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the game, Du Song Lin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andres van der Sar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot 29 in the game by Afonso Cardozo from a close distance when the talented João Vítor Arósio managed to make a qualified save. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s players were relieved. MONTANHA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Cardozo in the 29th minute. Czeslaw Walec made a great header on MONTANHA's corner, it was just that Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio managed to reach the ball for a save. Afonso Cardozo in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Vítor Arósio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio got control of the ball when Afonso Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Humberto Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 54th minute of play. João Vítor Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Walec in the 57th minute of the match. Wei Guang Xing took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Vítor Arósio. João Vítor Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Cardozo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Vítor Arósio saved Milan da Freguesia F.C. from getting behind. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Cardozo was slow to take the kick. During this time MONTANHA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MONTANHA's corner Afonso Cardozo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Vítor Arósio quite easily take care of the ball. MONTANHA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Du Song Lin scored to the left of an out of position Andres van der Sar, making the score, 1-2. Andres van der Sar came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin. But to his dismay, Du Song Lin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Du Song Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. João Vítor Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Walec in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Nilton Montenegro got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MONTANHA's zone, Du Song Lin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres van der Sar came out of the goal and Du Song Lin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Roger Guerra with Czeslaw Walec as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 91 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Cabral came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Czeslaw Walec went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
