Alfredinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udo Nigula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Saad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Carneiro having to make a save. Alfredinho Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 11th minute of the match. Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 15th minute of play. Christian Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Casado in the 17th minute of the match. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Cocârlă in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Edgard Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgard Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Batista came free, but Christian Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pires to maneuver through the defense. Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Rurik Öhlmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colognese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rurik Öhlmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 45 minutes on the clock, Matej Ďuračka commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Matej Ďuračka hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renato Quadros was substituted for Jorge Pires. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Casado in the 56th minute of play. When CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Colognese FC's Geovanni Leme was substituted for Ruben Casado. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Anísio Koehler replaced Caetano Saad. 75 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bater Palma came free, but Alfredinho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ioan Cocârlă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colognese FC's Geovanni Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 94th minute of play. Michael Telin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
