The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andres van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Lago in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 11th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Lima scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save MONTANHA from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd match minute, MONTANHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wei Guang Xing to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alfredo Sá hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Gonçalo Matos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu skillfully saved the ball. Luiz Fabiano Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres van der Sar having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Jurassic Monsters SA's Andres van der Sar threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fabiano Lima, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute Renan Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Luiz Fabiano Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Afonso Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Wei Guang Xing got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Lima came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes MONTANHA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kauan Cunha who took care of the corner kick. Jurassic Monsters SA's Luiz Fabiano Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wei Guang Xing. Andres van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 83rd minute of the match. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Walec, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's Luiz Fabiano Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans cheered their team off the field, for while MONTANHA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
