In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 3 minutes into the game, Robustiano Clementi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vista Alegre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aesir FC FSCMZ the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Vista Alegre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Clementi to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Clementi in the 9th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Clementi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Anselmo Fantini in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Sydney Ramalho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ronaldo de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute Robustiano Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. Aesir FC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Fantini in the 36th minute. The corner led Aesir FC FSCMZ's Anselmo Fantini to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronaldo de Moraes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sydney Ramalho was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel de Amorim came free, but Ronaldo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Anselmo Fantini went to the cornerflag to take it. If Dudu Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Robustiano Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 59th minute. If Robustiano Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. Norberto de Azevedo replaced Dudu Magalhães. Sydney Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ronaldo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Anselmo Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Robustiano Clementi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Galvão came out of the goal and Robustiano Clementi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vista Alegre FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
