Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xantalen Titos in the 14th minute of play. After 17 minutes Compugraf's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kara Bhattacharya who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Ulysses Fernandes got a free kick in the 20th minute. Xantalen Titos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo de Medeiros having to make a save. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xantalen Titos in the 23rd minute of play. Compugraf's Duda Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roneixon Siqueira in the 27th minute of play. The throw-in from Oswaldo Nascimento in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Compugraf's Ciro Amaral. With a little luck, Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros got control of the ball when Xantalen Titos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Xantalen Titos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonçalo de Medeiros, 1-0. Xantalen Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Xantalen Titos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Compugraf's Chico Freire was substituted for Xantalen Titos. Chico Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute Chico Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
