The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roneixon Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roneixon Siqueira in the 7th minute of play. With his leg Alysson Rezende managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cavalera in the 23rd minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the game Adelino Antunes made a throw-in which Igor Cavalera played forward. 43 minutes into the game, João Barone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ogro F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espigão Steamrollers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s João Barone got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Espigão Steamrollers made a substitution. Gil Vieira replaced Ulisses Carioca. Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cavalera came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros got control of the ball when Igor Cavalera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ogro F.C.'s Nicko McBrain was substituted for Dan Zimmermann. The score was now 0-2. 95 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Nicko McBrain came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Paranaense in the 96th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Minnemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo de Medeiros having to interfere. The Espigão Steamrollers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ogro F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
