Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cacá Mangione made the kick off and thus started the match. Andrézinho Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cacá Mangione scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Goo Goo Dolls fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valdomiro Pirani came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Dragnea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Olimpiu Dragnea put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Valdomiro Pirani. If Olimpiu Dragnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes, Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdomiro Pirani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goo Goo Dolls reached it. Cacá Mangione scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Penha Athletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Tinoco. In the 32nd minute of the match Olimpiu Dragnea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Pirani skillfully saved the ball. Benjamin Cuss made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Belmiro Lucas sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Penha Athletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Mangione came free, but Valdomiro Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Olimpiu Dragnea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani did a great save. In the 39th minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Olimpiu Dragnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Cacá Mangione who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Penha Athletico Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goo Goo Dolls were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Severo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdomiro Pirani. Valdomiro Pirani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 58 minutes into the match, Penha Athletico Club's goalkeeper Valdomiro Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olimpiu Dragnea. In the 59th match minute, Goo Goo Dolls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Boulding to maneuver through the defense. Valdomiro Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 62nd minute of the match. Valdomiro Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo Gillis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the game, Cacá Mangione recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdomiro Pirani. Cacá Mangione showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The supporters of Goo Goo Dolls booed when Penha Athletico Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Steve Boulding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Goo Goo Dolls getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fábio Quintal hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Fernando Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Cuss was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Frederico Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 91st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Goo Goo Dolls's Valdomiro Pirani threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cacá Mangione, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Goo Goo Dolls left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Penha Athletico Club.
