Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Vergaray in the 3rd minute of play. Valdomiro Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Poling in the 4th minute of play. Ezequiel Centurión took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Divorciados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Beila to maneuver through the defense. Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Penha Athletico Club from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 21st minute of play forced Penha Athletico Club's goalkeeper Valdomiro Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 24th minute of play. When Tião Valle fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penha Athletico Club's protests and gave Tião Valle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Penha Athletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Valle to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Penha Athletico Club's Tião Valle got a free kick in the 27th minute. Fabricio Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Valdomiro Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Pirani made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Fabricio Otsoa sent off a good shot on target. Andrézinho Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Poling got free with Valdomiro Pirani in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Murilo Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Severo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Beat Kellenberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Penha Athletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Fabricio Otsoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Belmiro Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdomiro Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Penha Athletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Breno Marinho. Valdomiro Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Kellenberger in the 75th minute of the match. Valdomiro Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Kellenberger in the 76th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Penha Athletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Manuelo came free, but Valdomiro Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Divorciados FC's Rodolfo Manuelo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penha Athletico Club's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Divorciados FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fabricio Otsoa hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Divorciados FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
