Marcel Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Jimeno Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Espinillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Nazario Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Gumaro in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar de Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Jimeno Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Espinillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Nazario Serre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Serafino Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Los Espinillos FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Armando Bastia hit a great ball. Poli Albizua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ismael Nazario Serre made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Gumaro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Nazario Serre saved Papunhas EC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Serafino Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Gumaro took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Nazario Serre. Ismael Nazario Serre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Gumaro in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Nazario Serre saved Papunhas EC from getting behind. In the 76thth minute of the game Serafino Quilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 84 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Eleder. Zula Munko kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Espinillos FC's Luis Orlondon got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Los Espinillos FC booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Los Espinillos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Papunhas EC throughout the match.
