In the 5thth minute of the game Valdemar de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Papunhas EC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valdemar de Moraes took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Pirani. Valdomiro Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Penha Athletico Club's Valdomiro Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 11th minute of play. Valdomiro Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Baiano in the 14th minute of the match. Andrézinho Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Penha Athletico Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Penha Athletico Club getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Murilo Severo hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Penha Athletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Amorim. 19 minutes into the match, Valdemar de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdomiro Pirani. Penha Athletico Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Penha Athletico Club defense, Christian Baiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdomiro Pirani. The Penha Athletico Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdomiro Pirani should have stopped the shot. Valdomiro Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute, Valdemar de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Valdomiro Pirani. Penha Athletico Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 36th minute, Elói Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdomiro Pirani came out of the goal and Agostinho de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agostinho de Carvalho took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Pirani. Valdomiro Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Penha Athletico Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Valdemar de Moraes scored to the left of an out of position Valdomiro Pirani, making the score, 0-9. After 70 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Sampaio. Valdemar de Moraes took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Pirani. Valdomiro Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Valdomiro Pirani made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Christian Baiano sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Penha Athletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar de Moraes came free, but Valdomiro Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Pirani was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Valdemar de Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdemar de Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Valdemar de Moraes succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-12. When the match was over Papunhas EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Penha Athletico Club throughout the match.
